Alycia Debnam Carey was born in Sydney, Australia. She is an Australian actor who has appeared on TV shows like Fear the Walking Dead. At the age of 8, she started acting at the age of 8 in Sydney, Australia. Her first role was in the short feature film Martha s New Coat . In an episode of McLeod's Daughter she got her TV debut. She had a prominent role as a regular in sci-fi television series The 100. The show was based on the same book. She played the part of Commander Lexa who was a powerful leader that ruled twelve clans. The popularity of her character grew even more following her appearance on Fear the Walking Dead, television series that focuses on horror and drama. The series was very well-received by critics and the show has received several awards and accolades. Jigsaw Girl, The Branch as well as other short films have featured her. In the film based on found footage of a catastrophe Into the Storm she made her debut in a feature film. It was a commercial success however, the critics were generally negative.
